LLUMEN is the dark electronic project of Belgian artist Pieter Coussement, where driving rhythms meet emotional depth. Blending EBM, techno, gothic, electronica, and future pop, LLUMEN creates melodic, club-oriented music that balances introspection with physical energy. Themes of love, longing, desire, vulnerability, and transformation run throughout the project, giving its dancefloor pulse a distinctly human core.

Since its debut, LLUMEN has steadily evolved through three full-length albums (The Memory Institute, Polygon Heart, and The Breaking Waves) each expanding the project's sonic identity. The upcoming fourth album, Winter Eden, brings these explorations together in its most cohesive form to date, exploring the tension between emotional isolation and renewal through immersive electronic soundscapes. Alongside its own releases, LLUMEN has produced official remixes for artists including Noemi Aurora, C-Lekktor, Pre Emptive Strike, Implant, and Alien Vampires, further establishing its place within the international dark electronic scene.

Live, LLUMEN performs as a three-piece, combining live instrumentation, vocals, and synchronized visuals into an energetic audiovisual experience. The project has appeared at festivals and events including Infest, Mechanismus, Unterwasser XL, and numerous club nights across Europe.
